"Although Arabic calligraphy has developed into a singular art form since the beginning of Islam, Nasreddine Zitouni creates a further artistic novelty. No designer has ever designed objects from diverse materials, decorated with calligraphic elements. In his exhibition there are lamps, glass objects or e.g. mirrors, which are not only striking in their design, but more so in the calligraphies. Nasreddine Zitouni is therefore an intermediary between peoples of different religions, a passionate designer and also an innovative calligrapher."
